Native UltraTax CS export is on our roadmap. Thomson Reuters CS Suite firms use TaxAutomate today for organized workpapers and expert-reviewed completed returns — and get native export to Drake or ProSeries where those seats exist.
We build integrations the way we built Drake and ProSeries: each tool's own native workflow, real client matching, no half-measures. Here is what is planned for UltraTax CS.
No native export required — the prep work still drops from hours to minutes
Bulk-upload client documents and get back organized, bookmarked PDF workpapers — sorted by form type and ready to work from inside UltraTax CS.
We prepare the return and an expert reviews it (+20 credits, about $20). You get the completed return as PDFs and workpapers, with every extracted field laid out for fast entry into UltraTax CS.
If part of your book runs on Drake or ProSeries, those integrations are live today — direct data entry into Drake's own screens via our desktop agent, no-install client import for ProSeries.
Cut manual data entry out of prep and put staff time on review and advisory work.
AI extraction with multi-layer validation, plus optional expert review for 20 credits.
From document upload to a completed, review-ready return in minutes, not hours.
1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120-S and related schedules are supported.
What firms ask about TaxAutomate and UltraTax CS
Not yet. UltraTax CS export is on our roadmap and we won't claim otherwise. Drake and ProSeries exports are live today, and everything else works through organized PDF workpapers.
Yes. Upload client documents, get the completed return and organized workpapers back as PDFs, and enter from our extracted data instead of raw source docs. Firms tell us this alone cuts most of the prep grind, even before a native export exists.
Send us a note through the contact page and tell us you're on UltraTax CS. You'll be first to know when the export lands — and requests like yours are exactly what sets the roadmap order.
Flat $35 per return, covering up to 10 pages of source documents — that's 35 credits at $1 per credit, plus 1 credit per page after 10. Optional expert review adds 20 credits (about $20). Credit packages start at 200 returns ($7,000), with volume discounts up to 15%. New accounts get $50 in free credits to test the output quality on your own documents.
Client data is protected with AES-256 field-level encryption — sensitive fields like SSNs are encrypted individually, not just at rest. Our controls are built to SOC 2 standards, and we never store your tax software credentials.
