What the TaxAct Professional Integration Will Do

We build integrations the way we built Drake and ProSeries: each tool's own native workflow, real client matching, no half-measures. Here is what is planned for TaxAct Professional.

The TaxAct Professional export is not live yet, and we won't dress that up. It's on the roadmap, and roadmap order is set by demand. Tell us you run TaxAct Professional and you'll be first to know when it ships — and you'll move it up the list.

Frequently Asked Questions

What firms ask about TaxAutomate and TaxAct Professional

Is the TaxAct Professional integration live?

Not yet. TaxAct Professional export is on our roadmap and we won't claim otherwise. Drake and ProSeries exports are live today, and everything else works through organized PDF workpapers.

Can I use TaxAutomate with TaxAct Professional today?

Yes. Upload client documents, get the completed return and organized workpapers back as PDFs, and enter from our extracted data instead of raw source docs. Firms tell us this alone cuts most of the prep grind, even before a native export exists.

How do I find out when it ships?

Send us a note through the contact page and tell us you're on TaxAct Professional. You'll be first to know when the export lands — and requests like yours are exactly what sets the roadmap order.

What does it cost?

Flat $35 per return, covering up to 10 pages of source documents — that's 35 credits at $1 per credit, plus 1 credit per page after 10. Optional expert review adds 20 credits (about $20). Credit packages start at 200 returns ($7,000), with volume discounts up to 15%. New accounts get $50 in free credits to test the output quality on your own documents.

Is my client data secure?

Client data is protected with AES-256 field-level encryption — sensitive fields like SSNs are encrypted individually, not just at rest. Our controls are built to SOC 2 standards, and we never store your tax software credentials.
